A Full Spectrum CBD oil, our Blue CBD Oil (alternatively known as herbal 500 or herbal 1500) is made with organically grown Dutch mixed in a base of hemp seed oil and available in 500mg of CBD (10ml) or 1500mg of CBD (30ml).

Blue CBD Oil 5 percent strength is available in natural, mint and lemon flavours. It is suitable for taking under the tongue.

A medium strength product, our Blue CBD Oil delivers 2.5mg of CBD per drop. It’s perfect for those continuing their CBD journey and contains the full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes for maximum benefit.

What strength CBD oil should I take?

CBD oils are not medically approved. For this reason, it can be hard to find advice regarding how much CBD you should take.

Here at Simply CBD, we have a range of CBD oils that vary in strength from low to high. Our products are designed to support those just starting on their CBD journey, as well as regular users who may have been taking CBD for some time.

The concentration you choose will depend on what benefit you’re hoping to get from taking CBD oil.

If you have already been taking a low dose of CBD oil and have found no or only very slight improvement in your symptoms, you may benefit from moving up to a medium strength product. We would also recommend moving up to a medium-strength CBD oil if you have to take multiple doses of low dose CBD oil throughout the day.

What is Full Spectrum CBD?

Blue CBD Oil is made with Full Spectrum CBD, which means you will benefit from the essential oils, terpenes, and cannabinoids in the plant. Our Blue CBD Oil contains high levels of both CBD and CBDa.

It is usual for Full Spectrum CBD products to contain small amounts of THC. This is the cannabinoid in the plant that produces the ‘high’ feeling. However, THC is present in such low amounts in these products (up to a maximum of 0.2%) that it is not strong enough to produce psychoactive effects.

Because Full Spectrum CBD contains all of the plant compounds, it may produce a more potent effect than CBD isolate, which is more processed. This is because of what has become known as the ‘entourage effect’. Essentially this is when the different cannabinoids in CBD work together to create an effect that can be more significant than any of the active ingredients can create independently.

What are terpenes?

CBD terpenes are natural compounds found in the flowers and buds of flowers.

Whilst the terpenes themselves, such as Linalool and Limonene, are thought to have their therapeutic effects, they are also indicative of a less processed CBD oil.

What is Dutch CBD oil?

All of our Simply CBD products are made with Dutch CBD oil.

Organically grown on a farm in the Netherlands, our CBD oil is CO2 extracted to ensure that all of the cannabinoids, terpenes and essential oils are pulled from the plants as gently as possible.

Dutch CBD Oil is the authentic taste of Dutch oil.

"Start low and slowly grow" is the key to starting your CBD journey. This will allow you to slowly build up your endocannabinoid system and fully realise your sweet spot. Your endocannabinoid system works on a bell curve and if you take too much at once then you can go over the curve and overload which could result in having the opposite effect of what you're hoping to achieve.

This is a rough guide only as each of us is different and unique. A slow approach may be more beneficial to you and increase fortnightly instead. The time frames below are examples, but a good guide to how dosing is recommended.

Week 1
1 drop three times a day
Week 2 2 drops three times a day
Week 3 3 drops three times a day
Week 4 4 drops three times a day
Week 5

5 drops three times a day

Once you have found a suitable level, you should maintain and not increase your intake levels.

Frequently asked questions

The duration of the bottles will vary depending on individual usage and frequency. The bottle volume would be affected for example by how many drops you take within your daily dosage. On average a 10ml bottle has approximately 200 drops, in comparison to the 30ml bottle which has approximately 600 drops.

Our CBD oils are generally designed to be taken orally following the guidance available on our website. However, there are many individuals who use alternative methods of application for their individual needs and report the benefits of their chosen methods. CBD may support the cannabinoid receptors which are found underneath the pores of the skin. We would suggest joining our facebook support group to read more about the uses of CBD which many of our customers have shared.

We would additionally suggest checking out of our range of Balms and Salves which have been designed specifically for topical application.

If this is your first time exploring CBD as a new addition to your daily routine, we would recommend looking into our CBD products which are suited to beginners. The logic behind this suggestion is because the strength of a CBD product is determined on an individual basis. Starting off with a lower CBD oil will help guide you into understanding whether you need a lower strength oil or overtime if you need to increase onto a higher strength.

Here at Simply CBD we use 100% natural CBD extracted from organic dutch high-grade cannabis at a high quality standard. We are a leading CBD provider within the UK market who offer our CBD products at an extremely competitive price. On each product information page you will be able to find the price per mg of drop for full transparency. We offer 10ml bottles for individuals who require smaller numbers of drops and 30ml bottles for the average regular user of CBD.

When taking CBD oil based products the most effective way of taking CBD is by placing the drops under the tongue to dissolve. You should then wash any leftover oil down with a glass of water. Once the CBD oil is under the tongue it is absorbed into the bloodstream by passing through the sublingual membrane.

Here at Simply CBD our CBD oils are extracted from the sativa plant.

It is well documented by industry experts that the conversation of Indica vs Sativa is meaningless. Good CBD oil has zero to do with the strain, more so the cannabinoid and terpene profile used. The debate tends to be misinformed to push consumers into overly expensive products.

When it comes to finding the correct dose suited to your needs, we would suggest you follow the guidelines available on our website. The key to gaining benefits from CBD is understanding when you have found the correct dose and strength suitable for your needs. An easy method of assessing is for you to stop increasing when you feel small and minimal benefits from taking CBD. The key is patience and also assessing weekly how you feel. Any indication that the CBD is providing you with some benefit would be an indication for you to stop increasing and maintain the drops you are currently on to see if the benefits get stronger overtime.
