At Simply CBD, we’re proud to offer a wide range of high-quality products that are suitable for beginners. Whether you’re interested in cbd oils, cbd vape liquids, nasal sprays, water-soluble CBD, or topical options, we’ve got you covered! Quality is always a priority to us, so you can rest assured that ours are the best starter CBD products on the market.
Some brands pressure you into spending more on higher-strength products right away. At Simply CBD, we want you to get the most out of your CBD journey. That’s why our CBD for beginners products are made with low-strength CBD. This allows you to start low and slowly grow, which is the best way to begin using cannabidiol products.
Different CBD users have different preferences. That’s why we offer a selection of full spectrum cbd, broad spectrum, and CBD isolate options in our range of CBD for beginners. This allows you to select the option that’s right for you.
At Simply CBD, we’re as committed to accessibility as we are to quality. Our products are made with natural ingredients and contain extracts from organic, high-grade Dutch hemp. Not only this, we also offer the most affordable CBD for beginners on the UK market.
Our prices per mg of CBD speak for themselves. For example, our Liquid Gold CBD oil costs £0.03p per mg of CBD. In contrast, other large brands often charge between £0.05p and £0.08p per mg of CBD. This may not seem like a huge difference, but its effects on the end prices are substantial. Our Liquid Gold CBD Oil comes in a 30ml bottle, contains 600mg of CBD and costs just £19.99. Another large brand offers a 30ml bottle of 600mg CBD oil for £29.99. This means you’ll save £10 on the best starter CBD oil in the UK when you shop with us.
It’s important that beginners to CBD are able to find products that are simple to take or apply. For example, our oils can be taken sublingually, our patches can be applied anywhere on the body, and our vape liquids are simply inhaled. No matter which product type you’re interested in, it will offer an easy and enjoyable experience.
We know that the world of CBD can be confusing for beginners. That’s why our Simply Experts are on standby to offer first-class one-to-one support. We also have a 47K-strong community support group on Facebook run by our customers where you can ask questions and learn more about CBD products. Our customers frequently leave us 5-star reviews that detail their experiences with our products. Here’s a selection of feedback on our CBD reviews for beginners:
I have been using this product for a few weeks. I can honestly say that it is helping me with arthritis in my hands. I am also not getting tired of an evening whereas I was falling asleep before. I don’t like the taste of normal CBD oil but with this water soluble one I cannot taste it in my drink. I shall continue to buy this product.
My fur baby is 16 years of age, with arthritis. I noticed a massive improvement within a couple of weeks of him being on the CBD oil giving him a new lease of life!!
A big believer in CBD & after asking advice I bought this bundle. I've never used patches before so I'm very pleased to say this has been a huge success for me and I have bought more. The pain relief I'm now getting is brilliant. Not 100% but a very long way from where I was before I started using them. So pleased I've recommended this to many people.
I was hobbling around 2 years ago using a stick and in pain. In a short space of time using cbd oil the pain lessened and now the knees only ache occasionally - recommended :)
Simply CBD is an excellent product. Having tried various other suppliers before finding Simply I can honestly say the consistent quality, affordability and acceptability of Simply is unsurpassed. I use it myself and on my dogs with great effect. Really reduces pain and anxiety.
Products are great and well priced, delivery very quick. Lots of choice and support/advice when needed. Highly recommended.
A starter CBD product, otherwise known as CBD for beginners, is a type of CBD product that anyone can use. This includes those who have never tried CBD before. If you’re brand new to the world of CBD, it’s always best to begin with some form of CBD for beginners. This is because diving into higher-strength products straight away can overload your system. When this happens, it can end up causing adverse effects. Starting low and slowly building up is always advisable. This method allows your endocannabinoid system time to ‘wake up’ and begin reacting to the CBD.
CBD for beginners comes in various forms and CBD profiles. For example, in our starter range, we offer oils, vape liquids, nasal sprays, water-soluble CBD, patches, and various types of topical CBD. This allows you to try out different product types without having to take a higher dose. We also offer all types of CBD profiles in our starter range. This means that no matter if you prefer full spectrum, broad spectrum, or isolate products, we’ve got something for you.
It’s worth noting that products that are listed as starter options aren’t only suitable for beginners. This identifier simply means that beginners can safely use these products without worrying about overloading their system. Some frequent CBD users continue to use their original starter dose because that’s what works for them. Others build all the way up to our strongest products. Everyone’s body reacts differently to CBD, so the CBD concentration you’ll need is down to how your body responds.
As with any new supplement or substance, it’s always best to begin with low-strength CBD. This allows you to work out how your body responds to it entering your system. You can then adjust this dose until you find exactly what works best for you. If you buy CBD in a high dose to begin with, your system can become overloaded. This may lead to adverse reactions and produce the opposite of the effects you’re aiming to achieve.
Some people believe that a higher dose or a stronger product will produce better, faster results. This is not the case due to the way CBD interacts with the body. Your body’s endocannabinoid system is what allows CBD and other cannabinoids to produce desirable benefits. This system works on a bell curve. As with any bell curve, surpassing it leads to diminishing returns.
Another reason to start with low-dose products and slowly build up is the cost. If you begin with a low-strength CBD product, it will be much less expensive than a higher-dose product solely because of the CBD concentration. You may find that after using CBD for beginners for some time and working out your CBD sweet spot, you only need a low-strength CBD product. This can save you a lot of money, as there’s no reason to buy a stronger and more expensive product than you need to. Those options are available for users who require them, but not everyone reaches that point. For example, you may start with our Liquid Gold CBD Oil (2%) and find that it suits your needs. In contrast, other users may find that they can only reap the same benefits from a 10% strength product. CBD is all about finding the balance that works for you.
Building up with CBD for beginners allows your body time to adjust to the product entering your system. The general rule to follow when building up your dose and usage frequency is ‘start low and slowly grow’. A low-strength product allows you to avoid overloading your system, and the slow progression eases your body into higher doses of CBD.
Many users choose to begin with oil products. If this is the case for you, we recommend starting by taking one drop three times per day. You can then increase this dose per interval per week. For example, on week two, you would take two drops three times per day. You can continue to increase in this way for up to eight weeks or until you find your CBD sweet spot. This is the dose that provides you with your desired results. As soon as you begin feeling the effects of the oil, you should stop increasing your dose and usage frequency and instead remain consistent. You may need to increase your dose later down the line, or this may be the exact dose that will work for you moving forward. Feeling the effects means that you’ve hit the sweet spot on the bell curve, so increasing any further would cause diminishing results.
If you’re starting out with patches, simply apply one to an area of concern for targeted relief or your upper arm for general wellness support. Our patches are designed to release the available CBD into the bloodstream for up to 36 hours. However, the exact amount of time this takes varies between individuals. The more you use the patches, the better you’ll know when you need to change them.
Other topical options, such as balms and salves, can be applied multiple times throughout the day as required. As for CBD vape liquids, these can be used in the same way as any other type of vape liquid. Water soluble oils can be added to drinks or nebulisers, following the one drop three times per day rule and building up from there. Nasal sprays are delivered through the nose as needed.
When you first start using CBD, we always recommend starting with one product at a time. This helps avoid overloading your system with too much CBD at once. However, once you’ve begun using CBD, if you wish to incorporate other products, there is no harm in doing so. For example, some users apply a patch in the morning and then use vape liquids to top up their dose throughout the day. Others may take drops throughout the day and apply a balm to affected areas when required. Practices like these are completely safe.
One thing to keep in mind if you do begin using more than one CBD product is your ideal daily dose. For example, if you find that your ideal dose of CBD per day is 35mg, it’s a good idea to split this between the various products you’re using. If you’re adding in a product to increase your dose, make sure to do this gradually to avoid overloading your system. This allows your body to adjust to the new product and dose. You should then stop increasing once you find a new dose that provides your desired results.
Another important factor to consider is the UK’s safety guidelines regarding daily intake of CBD. These guidelines state that you should take no more than 70mg of CBD per day. When you begin adding new products into the mix, it’s important to keep this rule in mind when working out your dose. As a starter to CBD, your dose will be nowhere near the daily limit. However, as you continue to increase your dose and the number of products in your routine, this is a key factor to consider.
Full-spectrum CBD contains all of the cannabinoids and plant compounds that naturally occur in hemp plants. This type of CBD is considered to be more potent than CBD isolate because it can create the entourage effect. This is what occurs when all of the compounds and cannabinoids are able to work together.
Full-spectrum CBD contains a rich blend of cannabinoids and terpenes. It even includes trace amounts of minerals and vitamins. CBD is the prominent cannabinoid found in full-spectrum CBD, but there are also several minor ones, including CBG, CBC and CBN. You’ll also find terpenes like myrcene. This is a compound that is also found in plants like thyme and lemongrass, the latter being a plant used in traditional folk remedies for centuries. When cannabinoids like CBD interact with terpenes like myrcene, the properties are amplified. In the case of myrcene, it offers anti-inflammatory properties.
Full-spectrum CBD also contains flavonoids. Flavonoids are components found in many plants, fruits, and vegetables. They are naturally abundant in antioxidant activity. The role of flavonoids is to help regulate cellular activity in the body, protecting it against everyday toxins and stressors. Some of the flavonoids found in full-spectrum CBD include orientin, quercetin, silymarin and kaempferol.
One question you might have about full-spectrum CBD is whether it contains THC. In case you don’t know, THC is a cannabis plant compound that can cause a ‘high’ sensation. Full-spectrum CBD only contains trace amounts (less than 0.2%) of THC at most. Many full-spectrum CBD products contain significantly smaller THC quantities than this. For example, our Green CBD Oil independent laboratory test shows the THC content at just 0.025%. These trace amounts are not enough to ever cause a ‘high’.
Broad spectrum CBD falls somewhere between full spectrum CBD and CBD isolate. It contains a range of cannabinoids and plant compounds from hemp, but not all of them. Most notably, all broad spectrum CBD products are completely free from THC. However, as they contain various cannabinoids and compounds in addition to CBD, broad spectrum CBD products can produce a less potent variation of the entourage effect.
Broad spectrum CBD products are typically popular among users who want to reap similar benefits to what full spectrum CBD products offer without consuming any THC. THC is not a bad compound to consume, especially in the trace amounts found in full spectrum CBD products. It contributes to the entourage effect and will never cause a ‘high’ in trace quantities. However, some users prefer to only use products that don’t contain any THC. This is comparable to how those who follow a plant-based diet prefer to avoid animal-derived ingredients.
At Simply CBD, most of our products are either full spectrum or isolate. However, we do offer one type of product that falls within the broad spectrum category. This is our range of CBD vape liquids. They contain both CBD and CBG, but absolutely no THC. This is a low-strength CBD product that comes in three flavours including Minty Menthol, Cherry Licious, and Tutti Frutti. While some CBD users opt for this product alone, it’s commonly used as a top-up dose for other CBD products like oils or gummies.
CBD isolate is known as the purest form of CBD. Instead of including any of the other plant compounds or cannabinoids, CBD isolate products only contain CBD from hemp plants. This is achieved by adding an extra step to the extraction process. After the initial stage, the next step involves decarboxylation. This process separates the CBD content from any other compounds in the extract. This CBD is then lab tested to ensure that it’s at least 99% pure, before being added to CBD isolate products.
While THC is by no means a bad compound to ingest, especially in the trace amounts found in full spectrum products, some people prefer to avoid it. If you want to stay away from any THC content, you may want to try CBD isolate or broad spectrum CBD products. CBD isolate products are often a great type of CBD for beginners as they are typically simpler to dose. This may help you find your most suitable dose more easily.
It’s worth mentioning that CBD isolate contains no terpenes or flavonoids in addition to no other cannabinoids. This means that it’s impossible to experience the entourage effect when using only CBD isolate products. CBD isolate is still effective as CBD is the main ingredient across all CBD products. However, the entourage effect is thought to give broad and full spectrum products the ability to provide more potent effects. There are benefits of each product type, so the key is to find what works best for you.
The products in the starter category are listed as CBD for beginners because they are safe and offer a low enough dose for beginners to use. However, this does not mean that other users can’t use these products. In fact, many long-time users of CBD still use the products listed as CBD for beginners. For example, our Green and Liquid Gold CBD Oils, as well as our 15mg patches, remain some of our most popular products among our customers. This is because everyone reacts differently to CBD. Some people never require a higher dose than what the starter products provide.
When you first start using CBD for beginners, the most important factor is finding what works best for you. Some users find this right away with the first product they try, while for others it can take some trial and error to reach the right balance.
